5. Clothesline- A clothesline is a move in which one wrestler runs towards another and extends his/her arm out from the side of the body and parallel to the ground, hitting the opponent in the neck or chest and knocking him/her over.

4. STF- The wrestler wraps his arm around the neck of the opponent in a sleeper hold instead of pulling back on the head of the opponent. It is also used by John Cena, who calls it the STFU and is modified with crossed hands and more elevation than the STF.

 

3. 619- originally the Tiger Feint kick is a move in which a wrestler jumps through the second and top rope while holding on to the ropes, and uses the momentum to swing back around into the ring, This move requires high agility, and is mainly used by smaller wrestlers like Rey Mysterio. 619 is the area code of San Diego, Mysterio’s hometown.

 

2. Tombstone Piledriver

This variation of a belly-to-belly piledriver refers to any belly-to-belly piledriver that involves the wrestler holding the opponent in a belly-to-belly position, then falling to a kneeling position.

The name “Tombstone Piledriver” was popularized by The Undertaker and later Kane his younger brother. It was also used by Finlay back then.However, the move had been used under many names by other wrestlers years beforehand.

1. Pedigree- The wrestler bends their opponent forward, placing the opponent’s head between the wrestler’s legs and then applies a double underhook on the opponent. The wrestler then jumps up while tucking their knees causing them to lift their opponent off the mat before landing on their knees, forcing the opponent’s face into the mat. Triple H, the most famous user of this move, would name it the Pedigree during his “Greenwich Snob” gimmick and he still uses it today.

4. Randy Orton- though he’s scripted as one of the bad guys in WWE, he has good wrestling skills. One of the best really with convincing acting skills too… I think he had more tattoes now..

2. Triple H which stands for Honey, Hernan and Herman (I wish!) hehehe… Seriously, it stands for Hunter Hearst Helmsley which was the name he used before, years ago. If you are a wrestler fan, you would remember him with the one wearing a suit and bringing a cane and his case. Oh well, I just find it gross when he spits the water from his mouth when he does his intro… He appeared in Blade Trinity, the vampire who carried two vampire dogs too…

1. The Undertaker- who doesn’t get intimidated with his famous intro music and the scary look? I bet if you let a 3 year old kid see him, who stands 7 feet tall, like that on the street, the poor kid would be screaming to death in fear…

WWE Cyber Sunday

I was sick since last Thursday and I was not able to wake up early last Monday to watch the entire live wrestling matches.

Good thing there will be a replay tomorrow November 2 on Jack TV.

I was able to watch the last part on Undertaker’s match with Big Show and the good thing is this time the first one won!

The results were great as Triple H won again to defend his belt against Jeff Hardy.

Most of all ‘ the animal’ Batista won and got the new Heavyweight WWE CHampion against Jericho. People get to vote who would be the referee for the match. Steve Austin got it.

Though at the last part, Austin was accidentally knocked out by Batista so next in line was Jericho’s eternal enemy HBK Shawn Michaels. Funny when Batista got knocked out, HBK made the longest count in history of WWE so Jericho did not win. Then JBL came and knocked HBK out. The last in line to referee was the boastful Randy Orton  who came to help Jericho in beating Batista. As the script went by, Steve A. woke up and beat Randy O.

Can’t wait to watch the complete matches tomorrow!

I watched wrestling last Saturday night on Jack TV. It has been quite a while since I’ve watched wrestling matches.

The greatest match was with JBL  and Triple H . My mom lost her posture because she was very upset with Randy Orton who out from nowhere came out and attacked Triple H. The match was disqualified.

Randy Orton  won a match from a British wrestler I do not know.

Happily, Mickie James  got the championship for WWE Women from the glamazon and the almost unbeatable Beth Phoenix  !

Jericho after being kicked by Shawn Michaels won the match against Umaga.

Carlito  and Santino also won the tag team from another team I do not know hehehe.
