The 24-hour Vacation

What can you do with 24 hours? You’d be surprised…
1. The Film Fest- Rent a series of movies you’ve always wanted to watch and view them all in one sitting. Don’t worry about what’s happening outside your door– except when the pizza guy rings the bell!
2. Get a Dose of Friendship- Catch up with friends at someone’s house. Chat till late, eat junk food, sleep in— no outside responsibilities allowed!
3. Water Therapy- Don’t have time or the budget for a pool membership? For a small fee, many hotels offer day passes to their saunas and pools.
4. Art and Soul- Spend hours in a local art gallery, nose to nose with the masters. Afterwards, visit an art supply store for materials and return home newly inspired!
5. Gourmet for a Day- Sign up for a cooking course, or if consuming is more your speed, map out a culinary pilgrimage through town, visiting favourites, must-tries or unknowns.
6. Go Back to School- for a single day, immerse yourself in the pursuit of a new skill completely unrelated to your daily life!

My Eternity Ring

Eternity rings are most generally arrayed with diamonds. Other stones such as emeralds, rubies, and sapphires are also accepted choices, but diamonds are the acknowledged favorite. The form of the stones is as vital as the kind of stone, with oblong or square stones usually being preferred to round. Square or rectangular cut stones are easier to place end to end around a band, making them perfect for eternity rings.
They say that when deciding how to wear eternity rings the individual preference is the most essential factor. Eternity rings are typically worn on the same finger as wedding rings. They may be displayed in extra to the engagement ring and wedding band, or in place of either one. Many women decide to replace their wedding band with an eternity ring and wear it along with their engagement ring.
While the style, stones, and position of eternity rings are imperative to regard as, the sentiment expressed by an eternity ring is the most significant amount of the present.
History
According to our Dictionary of Jewellery, their history dates back about 4000 to an example found out Ur.
The endless or eternal loop is symbolic of eternal love. For this reason, many eternity rings are multi-stranded or plaited. Another similar theme is for the shank to be formed like a snake sometimes swallowing its own tail.

What’s the best business?

I am planning to open a small shop at Imperial Hotel building. It is near the Davao Light office, PLDT office, Kapitan Tomas elementary school and Ateneo de Davao University and other establishments.
Most shops here (like 90%) are surplus or pre-loved clothes (ukay-ukay), salons, karinderyas, and other shops.
I am still thinking if I would open the same surplus shop with beaded accessories or I open shops for cookies and brownies…
I hope everything will go on smoothly with the papers and all those stuffs.
When I stay in Makati next year, I plan to give the shop to my mother who will also retire on the same year.
Things you should not miss in Boracay!

Do not leave Boracay without visiting these places and dining in! Personally I recommend them:
* The famous milkshakes at Jonah’s
* The house music at Hey Jude!
* The pizza at Don Vitto’s
*Guilly’s Island
Wished I was able to dine in all of the nice and great restos in Bora… Perhaps next time!
The activities you should not miss too:
* para-sailing (parachute sailing) which costs 2,500 pesos for the first 15 minutes
* paraw-sailing
* island-hopping- the cost depends on how you rent the boat. Since I was alone, I paid 700 pesos including the buffet meal of barbecued chicken and pork, seafood and fish, etc. The island hopping includes snorkeling (we only paid 20 pesos) and a trip to crystal island cove for 200 pesos, and a free trip to Puka island.
There are other more activities you can do there aside from diving that usually costs 2,000-2,500 per head.
The hotels and inns are also cheap but I prefer to choose a sassy hotel but affordable.
La Carmela only costs 2,100 per night on an off season like June. The room can accomodate 4 people with free breakfasts for two persons.
My third night was free because of their promo 2 nights plus one.
It is safe to go around Boracay since people there are very nice.
It is also better to get a plane ticket going to and from Caticlan rather than in Kalibo which is around 2 hour trip to Boracay.
Also better choose the best airline so as not to waste your time waiting for a delayed or canceled flights!

Though I did not win anything this year compared to RD Asia’s online lottery last year, I am indeed very happy.
I have already the laptop I need for my job though I rarely use it because I am used to my desktop.
I also have my ticket to Manila for the last week of June and my Boracay ticket!
I was happy with my birthday celebration.
I am happy with my monthly salary for April, with less time, I am earning more because of the raise, yipee! I have 1,500 for the month of April! Yey!
Thank You Lord so much for all the blessings!
My day at David’s and my diet

As another gift for myself I went to David’s with my mom. Had a new haircut. Had relax and cellophane for 2,400++. My mom went ballistic over the costs of relax and she did not even know I had more expenses for the hair cellophane.
I think I will have my hair cut shorter soon. It’s still quite long for me.
I am aiming to lose more weight since the plan to go Bora by June with Shyla and Elinia is coming up so fast.
I already bought a new swimsuit and a summer dress I cannot wait to wear!
Hope I would have the means to buy the camera I am really eyeing on: Nikon D400 or L100.
Unfortunately, the hairdressers disapproved of swimming on the beach nor at the pool.
I was dissappointed for the beach party (at blue jazz) on the 4th coz it might be postponed. We plan to have a party at home for friends and neighbors on the 3rd then at blue jazz where there’s white sand beach and pool with the longest slide and more on the 4th for family and perhaps friends who would like to come along.
I can still go to blue jazz, i think so…
My diet is strange. I eat yoghurt for breakfast then lots of lettuce and half of a big apple (with bits of ham, or sausages, or meat, or fish, or hotdogs) with thousand islands dressing for lunch and uhm sometimes with mashed potatoes.
Then I eat a whole meal in the evening.
I should eat a lot for dinner since it is in the evening where I have tons of loads besides I sleep at around 3-4 am sometimes 6-7am.
Most of the time, I do not eat breakfast.
Then my liquid consists of:
1 cup of decaf coffee (Nescafe relax)
2 glasses of fresh milk
2-4 110ml of milk yoghurt drink (Nestle)
2-3 cups of green tea
and 1-2 cups of hot milk in the evening
and a couple of glasses of water
I am actually addicted to milk and I can drink 1 liter of fresh milk in less than 24 hours.
I’ve been gaining weight since my mom’s birthday on the 12th then our adopted brother’s last 22nd…
I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT FAST.
My brother lost weight in less than a month and the youngest is motivated too and have lost a few pounds already.
I am 52 kilos at the moment or around 113 lbs I think (lazy to calculate..) and I am aiming to have 47 kilos THE NATURAL WAY.
God bless me.
