Lightning always strikes in different place and never two times in the same place.
True or False?
This old proverb can certainly be true in a metaphorical sense, but there is no need to take it literally. Lightning can and generally strikes more than once and this occurs in the same place. High constructions are particularly defenseless against multiple lightning strikes. The Empire State Building in New York City usually faces 25 strikes per year, and during one thunder storm the building was hit by lightning eight times and this chain of lightning happened just 24 minutes.

Talk about lightning. I just took a day off today to attend to the insurance people. We’ve been hit by lightning again. Once in 2007 when it took several of our appliances. I wised up and bought those surge protector. Still, when the electrical storm hit us last week there was still a couple of appliances that blew up. If only I win Lotto twice instead of being hit by lightning – don’t they have the same odds?
the saying is just like, “Opportunity never knocks twice”…
but if your talking about the lightning in scientific sense, lightning do strikes in diff. places in diff various resons…
