BRUTAL Dantesque, bloody slaughter in the Faroe Islands, which belongs to Denmark . It is absolutely incredible that no one does anything to prevent this barbarism that are committed against Calderon, an intelligent dolphin who has this particular behavior of approaching people out of sheer curiosity.

a quote from my student about this entry:

    Hello Honey,

    yes, this is sad!

But I think there is something wrong with the message.
Faroe Island is an autonomous province of Denmark.
I’ve attached you a PDF Document from google maps.
I think this island is nearer Norway, and Norway is known for that disagreeing to the international agreement against whaling.
As you can see, this island is far away from all of the other continents.

Yes, it’s bad, that they are hunting whales and kill them in that way, but I think you must have a look to the whole situation of that island.
They live from the whales and fish, they are hunting and they have no other industry.

Another thing is, that you didn’t know how old these photos are…

    warm regards

    Birger

    Hi.

A little Googling turns up some facts:

    1. “IN THIS bloody slaughter to attend Moz to ’show’ entering adulthood…”
In fact, the whales are killed for food. The meat is used through the winter. This is a traditional food source for these people.

    2. “Calderon, an intelligent dolphin who has the particularity of approaching People out of sheer curiosity…”
No, the whales need to be herded in to the shore. They are not killed because they approached on their own.

    3. It seems that in fact this practice is not a threat to the existence of the species.

4.. The writer seems to think that this is a terrible form of “Barbarism.” Question: Does the writer eat meat or fish? Does he/she know about how cows and pigs are slaughtered?

My Pinay wife and I are vegetarians. So we are very concerned about cruelty to animals. But it seems this case is no worse than the things that are done to cows, pigs, chickens, etc., all over the world.

Two good articles you should read:

Disgusting, Abnormal, Uncivilized, Barbarians DANISH PEOPLE Kill Innocent Creatures.
They must be considered from the whole community as:
Idiot, Brainless, Human less Prehistoric MONSTERS with Absolutely ZERO HISTORY.

    STOP THEM NOW.

I think this is where you need to turn vegetarian. If there is a freaking island from where a picture can be transferred, I am sure food can be supplied as well. This is brutal and inhuman.

Fucking brats, I just hope those people have the same fate or worse.

James is right, but it’s their culture, and it’s their pride. The massive killing is just like what you see in a pig or cow or a chicken slaughter house. However, this is a ruthless act if they’re just doing this to test their maturity. If their major reason is for food, it would justify their heartless killing of such animals.

I think people need to look at how food is produced as a general thread. Nearly all mass produced meat is produced from animals kept mostly in cages of some sort for the majority of thier lives, before being slaughtered and packaged for the supermarkets.
Nearly all fruit and veg is grown on farms that were once forest. the forest was destroyed to all the farm to exist. In destroying the forest millions of species have been displaced or exterminated (amazon rain forest as an example.)
this farms are then covered on tonnes of evil chemicals to kill off more species of aminals to stop the gentically modified food from being eaten by then poor displaces aminals that now have nothing to eat.
The fruit and veg is then trucked/shipped around the world to supermarkets so you can eat it. see even the vegitrians have some to answer to in relation to the mass slaughter of animals throughout the world.

Yes I agree that it looks bad but once all the information is obtained and you look at your own impact on the planet then you might see that we are all to blame for this sort of death.

Personall I think the Matrix (movie) is correct. Humans are best described as a virus. They expanded into an area, consume or destroy all natural resorces and then expand out further.
