My day-off

I had two almost awful consecutive Thursdays but I was thinking it would only be just an ordinary day yesterday.

It turned out to be another almost awful Thursday except for the Hancock movie.

I was urging my youngest brother to go with me to watch the movie but he wouldn’t. I even tried to persuade him that I will pay for everything because I just want to be with somebody that day but he really would not since he just had an accident the night before.

It was a reigning 32 degree celsius day. I went out after lunch time since I woke up very late.

My first goal was to watch Hancock only to find out that Mamma Mia and Dark Knight (Batman) were already showing. Nevertheless, I did not hesitate in choosing Hancock since it was on my first to-do lists.

Hancock

The movie was short. It was not an action-packed movie I expected (even if I have already watched the trailer) but I like it.

I like the plot of the story. I love the ‘love story’ in which Hancock (played by Will Smith) and his kind were fated to be with their exact opposites like a soulmate. Their kind or race, whatever you call them, are gifted with super strength and immortality like gods but when they have exactly found their opposite and be with them, they become mortals and experience love, to be loved, get hurt, to feel and die eventually. However even if they will be separated, fate will always bring them together.

Hancock’s wife (The beautiful Charlize Theron) sacrificed being separated from him so he can save people. Also in the movie was Jason Bateman whom I saw in movies Juno and The kingdom (which was more likely a war film) so he was together with Jennifer Garner in a couple of films.

I realized that sometimes to become great, we sacrifice something/someone very dear to us and that’s really heart-breaking!

The story was more than what I have hoped for though it was light but I really like it very much.

Unlike the previous week where the videos I rented were all a disappointment to me even Nicole Kidman’s Margot at the wedding Margot at the wedding with Jennifer Jason Leigh and funny man Jack Black.

Wieners on the other hand was wickedly and grossly funny. It was one of those nonsense movies anyway. The only thing cute about it was Zachary Levi (from the TV series Chuck). Wieners
So to keep me sane I bought used but original vcds on sale at VIdeo CIty of King Arthur , Shawshank Redemption based from one of the famous writer Stephen King’s novels and Kingdom of Heaven directed by one of my favorite directors Ridley Scott.
I am not fond of reading Stephen King’s novels nor with most of his movies but I must admit they are really great. I have watched a couple of films base from his novels already that do not scare me so much. Same with Ridley Scott, his works were great however I could just not watch some of his films with drama about the killing scenes. I believe he likes Russel Crowe since he appeared to I think 3 of his movies.
If I do not go to the city to watch movie, I make sure I rent or buy used vcds on Thursdays. It became a habit for me to watch films on this day.
Too much for those links.
So why did I have this almost awful Thursday?
It started while I was watching the movie, 4 people on the other side were talking so loudly as if they were in their living room. I wanted to release the monster in me and tell them that it would be better if they would just rent a pirated DVD and stay at home!
Then this guy behind sitting at the other end of the row kept on kicking the chair which eventually shook even on the one im sitting on to… he also makes this orgasm-like sound I want to literally bury him 20 feet under especially when his phone rang while the movie was still showing and he chatted for a while on the phone so loudly that if I had Hancock’s strength, I would have uprooted the row of seats where he was and throw it up into the sky and into the outer space.
Then my brother asked me to buy a headset at Cdrking which has always been so crowded I had to wait for 40 minutes or so before my turn.
Unfortunately, since I am still at preschool with the word patience, I broke the cd-like pastic they use for priority number. It gave a loud crack that the people around me noticed it. The older woman gave a contaminating giggle that all of them were now laughing, I was really embarrassed and I felt the color of my shirt drained into my face…

I am infamous for breaking things right at the center with a straight line! Hoorah! I broke a couple of plates and saucers at home with the same thing. They just suddenly break from my hold right at the center with a perfect line.
Then I had to run for some errands for my father then went to visit my tita.
While I was in the bus, my head started to ache badly. Also the man who seated beside me does not look happy when I sat beside him. He directed the airconditioned balls up on our seats right through him while he was wearing a sweater. So wtf was that? Why would you wear a sweater in an airconditioned bus then want to suck all the air because you feel warmer? Sucker! He was not so happy when I directed one to me. my aching head was beginning to eat me up I wanted to literally bang his head on the glass window. I do think violent thoughts on people I do not like but I have never done it before, really. I do not like watching gorry and violent films or pictures but my thoughts im sure would not even pass for rated r for being so violent at most of the times.
If there is a hidden camera inside my head and the movie Minority Report is true, I might have been in death row a hundredth time.
